Plek^® Technology: Perfect Fret dressing for every Framus-Guitar

Through the use of Plek^®-technology every Framus guitar receives a perfect factory setup. Precise measuring techniques scan the neck on 132 measuring points (22 frets), basically every possible playing position on a guitar. The measurement is done with an exactly calculated pressure that simulates string tension, and the necessary neck relief is taken into account during this procedure. The dressing process does not take place as usual where all frets are leveled in one go; with the Plek procedure every necessary fret correction is sanded individually according to the measurements. The fret's crown is preserved even after the dressing process.

The end result is a perfectly leveled fret plane, defined string action and optimal playing comfort.
